Overview

We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the food industry with a proven background in fine dining, catering, and food service management. As a Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, from menu planning and food preparation to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Strong leadership skills are essential for managing a professional culinary team while ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality food production and service. Plan and design menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and reflect customer preferences. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain outstanding culinary standards. Manage inventory control and order supplies to keep stock levels balanced. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Work closely with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requirements. Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and best practices. Monitor food costs and labor expenses while upholding quality standards. Coordinate catering services, banquets, and special events as needed. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment through effective communication and leadership.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role. Strong background in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management. Hands-on experience in menu planning, food production, and kitchen operations. Solid knowledge of inventory control and food cost management. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in preparation and presentation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred; banquet experience is a plus. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences is a must.
