  • Provide a visionary, member-centric perspective on the future of the credit union industry in a rapidly evolving landscape.
  • Ensure the organization has a strong positive brand and lead the visioning process for a name change.

Education and Experience:

  • A BS or BA degree in a business management-related field is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstration of ongoing education and certifications relevant to a financial institution’s leadership.
  • Executive or senior leadership experience in a financial institution equal in size and complexity relative to TwinStar.
  • Minimum of five to seven years of proven leadership experience preferred.
  • Competency in organizational and team transformation, cultural evolution, and operational excellence.
  • Experience leading several strategic initiatives and changes to support a compelling vision.
  • A track record of community service and involvement in the community.
  • Lead executive-level crisis management, including the development of a crisis communication plan.
  • Financial management extends beyond rates and fees; ensure a sound, strategic investment approach for long-term stability and growth.
  • Create and lead a sound technology strategy (build, buy, partner) while building technology expertise in-house.
  • Work collaboratively with the board of directors to develop and implement policies and procedures that guide the credit union’s operations.
  • Build and maintain member relationships by delivering high-quality products and services that meet members’ needs.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of credit union operations, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Strong commitment to the credit union’s mission, values, and principles.
