Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth and profitability goals

  • Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

  • Oversee risk management and ensure full compliance with financial regulations and standards

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the finance team

  • Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure strategic and financial alignment

  • Deliver insightful financial reports and performance analyses to the executive team and board

  • Manage cash flow, investments, and capital structure to optimize financial health

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance financial systems, controls, and processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred

  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally as a CFO

  • In-depth knowledge of financial management, regulatory compliance, and accounting principles

  • Manufacturing industry experience is required

  • 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience

  • Strong analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities

  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively with executive teams and cross-functional departments

  • Proficient in financial systems and analytical tools
