Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee financial strategy, accounting operations, and compliance across our multi-entity structure. The CFO will lead the accounting team, ensure accuracy of financial reporting, and partner with ownership to drive performance and long-term growth. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring both strategic vision and hands-on financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

  • Direct all accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end/year-end close.

  • Oversee consolidated financial statements and reporting across multiple entities, including intercompany accounting transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with S-Corp tax regulations, GAAP standards, and applicable laws.

  • Provide accurate and timely budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to ownership.

  • Manage banking, audit, insurance, and external relationships.

  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls, financial policies, and accounting best practices.

  • Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and support investment and capital project evaluations.

  • Drive efficiencies and improvements in accounting processes and financial systems.

Qualifications

  • CPA required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA a plus).

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive senior-level finance or accounting leadership experience (Controller, VP of Finance, or CFO role).

  • Proven experience managing an accounting team.

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong ERP/technology skills.

  • Experience with intercompany accounting transactions strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of multi-entity business structures and S-Corp experience.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • High integrity with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
