Job Overview

RIGUPATL is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver to safely and efficiently transport oversized and heavy loads to various job sites. This role demands a strong knowledge of heavy haul regulations, expertise in load securing techniques, and a steadfast commitment to safety. You will work closely with team members to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy haul trucks and trailers to transport oversized loads safely and securely.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards.

  • Adhere to all applicable transportation regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.

  • Secure loads properly using industry-standard methods and materials.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of driving hours and vehicle inspections.

  • Communicate clearly with dispatchers and project managers regarding delivery timelines and status.

  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles as needed to ensure reliability.

  • Participate actively in safety meetings and help foster a culture of safety within the team.

  • Complete all required documentation related to transported loads.


Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.

  • Certifications required: OSHA 10, DOT Medical Card, and Forklift Certification.

  • Minimum of three years of experience in heavy haul trucking.

  • Comprehensive understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.

  • Proficient in load securing techniques and equipment usage.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Physical capability to perform manual labor and handle heavy loads safely.
