About the Cleaning Assistant Role
We’re currently hiring a Cleaning Assistant to join our dedicated team within the Campus Cleaning Services department at the University of Warwick. As a Cleaning Assistant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining clean and welcoming spaces across our offices, teaching rooms, the Library, and other University facilities. This position involves working within our non-residential cleaning team.
Campus Cleaning Services covers 7,076 campus bedrooms, 479 hotel rooms, and 65 University buildings. The usual shift pattern is from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, five days over seven, including potential weekend work depending on operational needs.

Cleaning Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Assistant, you will:

Clean offices, teaching areas, the Arts Centre, Library, and other key campus facilities.

Work early morning shifts from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, five days a week with occasional weekend duties as needed.

Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for students, staff, and visitors.
