Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions is currently recruiting a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated team at Exeter Mail Centre. As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Operative, your daily duties will include:

Mopping floors and vacuuming carpets in office and communal areas

Cleaning toilets, washing walls, and sanitising high-touch surfaces

Emptying bins and removing waste safely and hygienically

Operating various cleaning equipment (full training provided)

Following strict Health & Safety and manual handling procedures
About You
To succeed as a Cleaning Operative, you’ll ideally have:

A friendly, approachable attitude

Good verbal and written communication skills

The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

A keen eye for detail and a positive work ethic

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
Working Hours

Part-time: 17.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 10:30 am
Pay and Benefits

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

22.5 days annual leave (increasing to 25 days after 5 years’ service) plus bank holidays
