Position Summary
The Employee Benefits Client Manager (CM) partners with Producers and Client Executives to implement employee benefits strategies and provide day-to-day client service. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Manage client relationships, serving as the main contact for employee benefits inquiries.

Collaborate with clients, vendors, producers, and team members to implement comprehensive service plans.

Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs), analyze benefit plan designs, market comparisons, and contribution strategies.

Support negotiations with carriers to secure competitive premiums, commissions, and coverage.

Coordinate open enrollment meetings and prepare communication materials.

Advise clients on government reporting and compliance issues.

Maintain accurate records, proposals, workflow logs, and benefit information in agency management systems.

Stay informed on industry trends, legislation, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

Experience with Agency Management Systems, compliance, and industry operations.
Education & Experience

High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

2+ years’ experience as a Client Manager in a benefits consulting, brokerage firm, or similar role.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and presentation programs.

Ability to handle multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

High-level interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential situations.
Certifications & Licenses

Washington Life, Disability (health), and Travel license required.

Valid Driver’s License.
