About the Role
We’re seeking a seasoned sales representative with direct freight brokerage shipper-facing sales experience to join our client, a growing and profitable brokerage firm. Responsibilities

Present, promote, and sell transportation services to prospective customers.

Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.

Conduct cost-benefit and needs analyses for new and existing customers.

Establish and maintain positive customer relationships.

Use multiple outreach channels (cold calling, messaging, conferences, LinkedIn, etc.) to reach prospective customers.

Expand wallet share with existing accounts.

Resolve customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate sales efforts.

Provide management with insights on customer needs, competitive activities, and growth opportunities.
Additional Requirements

Ability to negotiate freight rates and fees effectively.

Familiarity with industry technology (rating tools, TMS systems).

Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work remotely and independently.

Willingness to travel when needed.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Detail-oriented with strong customer service focus.
