Join Bank of Oak Ridge as a Client Services Specialist and play a key role in building lasting relationships with our clients. In this role, you’ll support customers by providing tailored financial solutions, cross-selling banking services, and processing transactions with accuracy. You’ll assist with account openings, lending inquiries, and wealth management referrals while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Identify client needs and offer appropriate financial solutions

  • Promote, refer, and cross-sell banking services (insurance, wealth management, mortgage)

  • Process teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, etc.)

  • Open new accounts and respond to product inquiries

  • Research and resolve client concerns with professionalism

  • Provide coverage at different branch locations as needed

  • Serve as Client Connect / ITM Representative on Saturdays

  • Ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations and internal policies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

  • 2+ years of customer service experience (banking/financial services preferred)

  • Prior lending experience a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Team player with a positive, professional attitude
