Responsibilities

UnityPoint Clinic – Northridge Family Medicine is looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Clinic Administrator. This role will work closely with physician leaders in a collaborative partnership to:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the regional clinic

  • Drive efforts to optimize clinic performance for efficiency and effectiveness

  • Lead recruitment, supervision, mentorship, and development of clinic staff

  • Ensure sound fiscal management through budget planning and monitoring performance

  • Ensure the effective use of regional resources to meet clinic goals

  • Participate in provider recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent education and experience

  • Preference for a bachelor’s degree with experience in physician practice management

  • Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) certification is a plus

  • 2-3 years of leadership experience

  • Experience in accounts receivable, including billing, collection, ICD-9, and CPT coding

  • Strong interpersonal and computer skills

  • Proven leadership and supervisory abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to take initiative and make independent decisions

  • Knowledge of personnel management and patient relations

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Ability to understand and apply policies and procedures
