About the Job
Cottage Medical Group is seeking a Clinical Concierge (Medical Assistant) to join our Gynecologic Oncology Surgical Clinic. This position plays a key role in supporting the patient journey—before, during, and after the visit—by providing exceptional clinical and administrative assistance. Responsibilities include patient registration, payment collection, rooming, provider support, discharge coordination, and follow-up communication.
The Clinical Concierge enhances both clinical quality and patient satisfaction by acting as a consistent point of contact, or “companion,” for patients and their accompanying guests. This role rotates between front- and back-office functions and serves as a liaison between patients, providers, families, and the care team.
Key Responsibilities:

Support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Register patients, collect co-pays, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes.

Assist with clinical care including rooming patients, supporting exams and procedures, and maintaining medical records.

Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as needed (preferred).

Ensure clear communication with patients, families, and the clinical team.

Serve as a patient advocate and uphold a high standard of customer service.

Maintain a welcoming and efficient environment to enhance the overall patient experience.
Qualifications:
Education:

Required: High school diploma.

Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience (2+ years).
Certifications:

Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Technical Skills:

Required:

Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.

Familiarity with electronic medical records, preferably Epic.

Basic computer and email proficiency.

Phlebotomy and injection experience.

Background in urgent care or similar high-volume settings.

Experience:

Required: At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, including EMR use and phlebotomy.

Preferred: Experience in urgent care or oncology settings.
