We’re looking for a dedicated Clinical Director to oversee both outpatient and inpatient mental health programs. As a Clinical Director, you’ll use your clinical expertise and leadership skills to guide therapists, counselors, and healthcare professionals toward delivering exceptional patient outcomes. This position is ideal for a licensed clinical professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC) who thrives on fostering staff growth, maintaining compliance, and ensuring quality care for every client.


Key Responsibilities of a Clinical Director

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and clinical oversight to all therapists and counselors.

  • Oversee the creation and execution of individualized treatment plans.

  • Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and ethical standards.

  • Conduct case reviews and provide clinical guidance to enhance staff performance.

  • Lead onboarding, training, and continuing education for clinical staff.

  • Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.


Qualifications for the Clinical Director Role

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (required).

  • Active Tennessee licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC (required).

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in behavioral or mental health settings.

  • 2–3 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Strong understanding of treatment planning, compliance, and clinical modalities.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
