Position Summary:
Trident Medical Center is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support its centralized night shift operations. As a Clinical Pharmacist on the evening/night shift, you will play a key role in ensuring safe and effective medication use. Responsibilities include medication order verification and processing, sterile IV compounding, and the provision of vital clinical services such as:

  • Antimicrobial dosing and monitoring

  • Anticoagulation management

  • Renal dose adjustments

  • General consultative clinical support across various specialties

Facility Overview:
Trident Medical Center is a well-established healthcare institution offering a comprehensive range of medical services, featuring:

  • A 331-bed capacity including a Level II Trauma Center

  • 38 intensive care unit (ICU) beds and 21 operating rooms, supporting specialties such as cardiovascular and neurosurgery

  • Full support for a 60-bed behavioral health hospital and three freestanding emergency departments (EDs)

  • Fully compliant with USP 797 and USP 800 standards for sterile and hazardous drug compounding

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-acuity, tertiary acute care hospital setting

  • Active South Carolina Pharmacist License (in good standing)

  • Proficiency with Meditech Magic, DoseEdge, and aseptic IV preparation practices
