Job Summary
The Clinical Pharmacist – Outpatient (Outpt) plays a key role in ensuring safe, effective, and timely medication use for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. This role supervises clerks, technicians, interns, and students, while serving as a trusted source of drug information for patients and healthcare professionals. In mail-order pharmacy settings, the pharmacist coordinates mail-order operations as required. Flexibility to cover multiple pharmacy locations and perform additional duties as assigned is essential.
Education and Experience

Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy required

No prior experience required; 1+ year of community pharmacy experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare staff

Ability to write legibly and document accurately

Proficient in using computers and pharmacy software programs

Skilled in troubleshooting and calibrating patient care equipment

Critical thinking, organization, and prioritization skills to manage multiple assignments

Licenses and Certifications
