Attributes:
- Minimum of three (3) years of hospital experience preferred
- Proven ability to achieve positive patient outcomes
- Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Current New York State Pharmacist License required
Responsibilities:
- Pharmaceutical Management: Provide specialized pharmaceutical services to enhance drug utilization and therapeutic outcomes. Advise healthcare providers on drug therapy, potential side effects, and dosage management.
- Leadership & Team Collaboration: Mentor and supervise pharmacy trainees, coordinate pharmacy technician activities, and maintain strong working relationships with medical and nursing staff.
- Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive medication histories, assess patient compliance, and recommend necessary treatment modifications.
Education & Certifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Required)
- Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Pharmacist (LPharm) – New York State Education Department (NYSED)ACM Global Laboratories, a world leader in patient and clinical trial research
