About the Job
Seattle Children’s is seeking a dedicated Single Ventricle Psychologist to support children with complex heart conditions and their families. Starting with prenatal counseling, you’ll provide mental health support throughout early development, ongoing care, and transition to adulthood. Responsibilities include behavioral screening, therapy, and building tools for self-advocacy, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities

Provide emotional, developmental, and social support from prenatal stages through adolescence

Screen and treat behavioral and psychological conditions prevalent in this population

Support transitions to adult care and foster independent mental health management

Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, palliative care, social workers, and others

Participate in education, program development, and research initiatives
Requirements
-
Doctorate (PhD, PsyD, or EdD) in child clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program
-
APA-approved internship and postdoctoral training
-
Washington State Psychologist License
-
Experience in pediatric psychology or medical settings preferred
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $126,291 – $186,898 (based on experience and location)
