Dr. Ouyang and his clinical research team are seeking a motivated Clinical Research Data Specialist I to join the Heart Institute.
Key Responsibilities

Manage data for assigned research studies, including designing data collection forms and abstracting clinical data.

Process and clean clinical data using various software and database systems to ensure data integrity.

Generate project reports and maintain large, complex computerized record systems with accuracy and security.

Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations, including FDA requirements and Institutional Review Board protocols.

Perform data searches and administrative tasks related to study management.

Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and relevant laws.

Participate in required training and educational programs.
Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree required.
Experience & Skills:
-
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Experience with data analysis and coding in R is highly desirable.
