Clinical Staff Pharmacist – Infusion Pharmacy

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000

UC Health is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our Infusion Pharmacy team at the Barrett Cancer Center – Blood Cancer Healing Center. This role is integral to delivering advanced oncology and infusion therapies while collaborating with an interprofessional team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.S. in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
  • Licensure: Eligible for Ohio Pharmacist Licensure (ACLS preferred).
  • Experience: 0-1 year in hospital pharmacy; preference for PGY1 residency or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Medication Management: Prepare, dispense, and verify medications, including chemotherapy and sterile preparations.
  • Patient Safety & Compliance: Ensure safe, cost-effective medication therapies while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work with pharmacists, technicians, and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate records, oversee controlled substances, and support pharmacokinetic consults.
