Position Overview:
CPS Solutions, LLC is seeking a full-time Clinical Staff Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations at the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health. In this role, you will provide oversight for the PRP medication room, contribute to immunization efforts (including COVID-19, MPX, VFC, and 317 programs), deliver continuing education services, and support pharmacy-related functions within the Communicable Diseases division. Additionally, you will manage the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program to help improve public health outcomes.
Schedule:
This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed.
Compensation:
Starting pay ranges from $68 to $75 per hour, based on recent and relevant experience.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (BSPharm or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy

Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of California

Completion of an accredited PGY1 residency in Ambulatory Care or Disease Management

Strong preference for candidates with a PGY2 residency in Infectious Diseases

Minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacist experience

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions

Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written

Proficiency in computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems

Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
Hospital Requirements (may be required):

TB (PPD) Test – Negative result within the past 12 months

MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – Vaccination record or proof of immunity
-
Varicella – Two documented doses or proof of immunity
-
Hepatitis B – Completed 3-dose series or signed declination
-
Influenza vaccine (if hired between Oct. 1 – Apr. 30)

COVID-19 vaccination – Fully vaccinated
