Clinical Staff Pharmacist
San Bernardino County Department of Public Health – San Bernardino, CA

As a full-time, non-exempt Clinical Staff Pharmacist with CPS Solutions, LLC at the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, you will oversee the PRP medication room, support various immunization programs (including COVID-19, MPX, VFC, and 317), provide continuing education services, offer pharmacy-related support for communicable diseases, and manage the Antimicrobial Stewardship program.

Schedule:
This position is a 40-hour workweek, primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed.

Starting Pay:
$68 – $75 per hour, based on relevant work experience.


Required Qualifications:

  • A Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited pharmacy school.

  • A valid California Pharmacist license in good standing.

  • Successful completion of an accredited PGY1 residency in Ambulatory Care or Disease Management.

  • Preference given to candidates who have completed a PGY2 residency in Infectious Diseases.

  • At least 1 year of recent pharmacy work experience.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, make critical decisions, and address client concerns.

  • Exceptional customer service skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems.

  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in completing tasks.


Hospital Requirements (may apply):

  • TB Skin Test: Proof of negative TB test within the last 12 months.

  • MMR: Measles, Mumps, and Rubella immunization or blood titer proving immunity.

  • Varicella: Two documented doses or blood titer proving immunity.

  • Hepatitis B: Three-dose series (or declination).

  • Flu Vaccination: Required for employment between October 1 and April 30.

  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Full vaccination required.
