UC Health is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join the Infusion Pharmacy Department at the Barrett Cancer Center’s Blood Cancer Healing Center. This position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus!

As a Clinical Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for filling medication orders, monitoring patient therapies, providing drug information, and overseeing pharmacy support personnel. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to care for both oncology and non-oncology patients receiving infusion treatments and advanced therapies.

The Blood Cancer Healing Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for blood cancer patients, integrating patient care, novel treatments, and research all in one location.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition preparations, accurately and safely.

  • Ensure cost-effective, safe, and appropriate medication therapies for patients.

  • Collaborate with clinical pharmacy specialists and other health professionals to deliver optimal care.

  • Contribute to the department’s quality operations and assist with pharmacokinetics consult services.

  • Maintain medication profiles and records accurately, adhering to protocols.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio; ACLS preferred.

  • 0-1 years of experience preferred; completion of a PGY1 residency is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a healthcare team.
