Job Title: Clinical Therapist – Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Position Type: Independent Contractor

Schedule: Full-Time (15 billable, clinical hours per week)

Location: Telehealth

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to the individual needs of each client
  • Foster and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with clients
  • Schedule and manage client appointments following the intake
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards
  • Engage in continued education and professional development to keep current with the latest in therapeutic practices
  • Utilize networks to build and maintain a client base
  • Oversee the client experience and retention

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Professional Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Fully licensed with an active, unrestricted license in the state of Georgia (LPC or LMFT)
  • Minimum 1 year of post-licensed experience – preference for private practice experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong ethical decision-making capabilities
  • Proficient with computers and EHR softwares
  • Preference for candidates with specialization(s) in neurodivergence (autism, ADHD, OCD), chronic illness/pain, nutrition (keto), family therapy, or couples therapy
