Role Overview

We are seeking a part-time Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW – NY) to provide behavioral health services for pediatric and adolescent patients. This role involves working in a collaborative primary care model to treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders.

  • Schedule: Flexible, must work 3-4 hours on Saturdays

  • Caseload: 16–18 patients weekly minimum

  • Compensation: $35,000 for 20 hours/week; $70,000–$75,000 annualized


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments in line with evidence-based practices

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities

  • Develop and implement treatment plans and maintain timely documentation

  • Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to support treatment goals

  • Maintain professional development and licensing requirements

  • Respond promptly to urgent or emergent patient needs

  • Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to inclusive care


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field

  • LMSW license in New York

  • Experience working with pediatric and adolescent patients

  • Teletherapy experience preferred

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and psychosocial aspects of health

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

  • Must be available for 3-4 hours on Saturdays
