We are looking for a Network Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and deployment of network solutions in a hybrid cloud environment. This role will focus on ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of systems supporting AWS Cloud and hosted applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Develop technical designs and configurations for network security, including VPN services, firewall policies, and security protocols.
- Build, troubleshoot, and maintain Site-to-Site VPNs.
- Manage Cisco ASA firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, ASDM).
- Implement physical and logical network segmentation, VLANs, and IP subnetting.
- Configure and maintain TCP/IP networks, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and IP address management.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and performance issues in production environments.
- Configure and monitor network management systems.
- Provide escalated IT support, including on-call coverage (rotating schedule).
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve network operations and security practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Network Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Network Engineer, particularly with Cisco routing and switching.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and VPN configuration/troubleshooting.
- Experience configuring and managing Cisco ASA firewalls, including firewall rules.
- Proficiency in scripting for automation using Python or Ansible.
- Exposure to AWS cloud environments is a plus.
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends occasionally to support global customer change windows.
