Role Overview:
CentralSquare is seeking a Cloud Administrator to lead the architecture, design, and deployment of network solutions. This role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud network security architecture, managing hybrid environment upgrades, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring the reliability and integrity of AWS cloud-hosted applications. The position includes occasional on-call responsibilities on a rotating schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Develop technical designs and configurations for infrastructure security, VPN services, and firewall policies.

Build and troubleshoot Site-to-Site VPNs.

Implement and manage network segmentation, NAT, TCP/IP configurations, and IP address management.

Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco ASA firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, ASDM).

Configure and monitor network management and monitoring systems.

Provide escalated support for IT issues, including off-hours coverage when necessary.

Collaborate with teams to continuously improve network performance and reliability.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Network Security Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

7+ years of experience in network engineering, especially Cisco routing and switching.

Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and VPN configuration.

Experience configuring Cisco ASA firewalls and managing firewall rules.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Ansible for automation.

Exposure to AWS cloud environments is a plus.

Cisco CCNP or equivalent experience preferred.

Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues independently and in a team environment.

Occasional evening/weekend work to support global customer change windows.

Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, and AWS certifications are a plus.
