Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will help design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that power Prologis’ global operations. You’ll use modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and cloud-native tools to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure—supporting both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and other IaC tools.

  • Develop automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, or Bash to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Leverage version control systems like Git and project tracking tools such as Jira to maintain collaborative workflows and code integrity.

  • Configure and manage AWS cloud databases (e.g., S3, DynamoDB) and integrate them into broader system architectures.

  • Design and deploy event-driven architectures using AWS SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.

  • Implement secure authentication and identity management solutions including Cognito, ADFS, SSO, SAML, and OAuth.

  • Manage PKI, SSL, and certificate-based authentication to ensure secure communications.

  • Explore and apply AI-driven solutions to improve system performance and team efficiency.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to uphold best practices in system reliability, scalability, and security.

  • Serve as the final point of escalation for cloud infrastructure-related incidents.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, particularly with AWS and IaC tools.

  • Deep knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation.

  • Proficient in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud databases, APIs, and application integration.

  • Skilled in cloud messaging systems (e.g., SNS, SQS) and identity management protocols.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and GitHub for version control.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a collaborative mindset.

  • Committed to continuous learning and staying ahead of cloud technology trends.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Exposure to front-end technologies like React is a plus.

  • Understanding of AI-based tools in infrastructure operations.

  • AWS certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Developer Associate, Database Specialty) are a bonus.

Compensation

Hiring Salary Range: $98,000–$135,000
Compensation is determined based on location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity. Additional components may include:
