Job Description:

Key Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Azure, ACA, PostgreSQL, Redis, and have experience with Cognos and NoSQL databases. While the team has a strong background in cloud and DevOps, they require assistance with infrastructure implementations to ensure consistency across their platform. The role will focus on setting up infrastructure environments, managing subnets, and provisioning Azure services.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5-8 years of experience in a Cloud Engineer or similar role.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.

  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and VPC.

  • Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization with Docker.

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

  • Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab Runners, or similar.

  • Familiarity with zero-downtime deployment strategies and techniques.

  • Experience designing and implementing disaster recovery (DR) solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in team environments.
