Cloud Systems Engineer Senior Advisor – Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
As a Cloud Systems Engineer Senior Advisor, you will:

Design, develop, and manage secure Azure Gov Cloud environments (with Oracle Gov Cloud support).

Automate infrastructure and server deployment using code (Terraform, Bicep, JSON, YAML).

Build, test, and deploy infrastructure as code to improve compliance, security, and monitoring.

Support enterprise cloud operations and provide tier III cloud infrastructure support.
Development & Deployment Support

Collaborate with Enterprise Applications, Cybersecurity, and Server teams.

Use developer tools like PowerShell, Python, Git, and Visual Studio Code.

Implement serverless, Docker, and Kubernetes-based solutions.

Manage CI/CD pipelines and API integrations for cloud systems.
Security, Monitoring & Compliance

Manage tagging, logging, and compliance requirements through automation.
-
Enforce Azure cloud security best practices.
-
Present technical strategies to stakeholders and senior management.

Provide proactive monitoring and incident response support.
What You’ll Bring
Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or 14+ years of IT/cloud experience (10+ years required).

5+ years designing and automating enterprise cloud operations in Azure.

Strong coding, automation, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless solutions.

Architecture-level cloud certification (Azure Solutions Architect preferred).

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Ability to work nights/weekends as needed.
