Cloud Operations Engineer – Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management
As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will:

Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
-
Implement high-availability systems following AWS best practices.
-
Build and configure AWS WAF rules to safeguard against emerging threats.
CI/CD & Deployment Strategies
-
Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins).
-
Support advanced deployment patterns like Blue/Green and Canary releases.
-
Collaborate with developers for low-downtime, safe application rollouts.
Monitoring, Observability & Incident Response
-
Implement observability tooling (CloudWatch, Datadog) and proactive alerts.

Ensure infrastructure, network, and application health are monitored 24/7.

Provide incident response support and participate in on-call rotations.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
-
Automate infrastructure tasks with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.

Proactively identify and remediate security, performance, and scaling challenges.

Drive initiatives to enhance developer velocity and operational excellence.
What You’ll Bring
Required Skills & Experience:
-
4+ years in CloudOps, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.

Strong AWS expertise (EC2, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFront, ALB/NLB, WAF).

Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform.

Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, etc.).

Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or CloudWatch.

Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with trading or financial systems.

Knowledge of container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).

Background in infrastructure security and compliance.

Exposure to multi-region, highly available architectures.
