H-E-B is looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join our team as Perishable Representatives in College Station, TX. In this customer-facing role, you will provide a well-stocked and well-maintained department while preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh food products.

Responsibilities
Customer Service:

Deliver superior service with friendliness and attentiveness

Take customer orders in person or by phone

Answer questions and assist with product selection
Food Service:
-
Prepare, package, label, and rotate fresh food products
-
Merchandise fresh items using suggestive selling
-
Use Telxon scanner to track production
-
Support technical prep areas as needed
Sales & Merchandising:
-
Maintain effective and appealing displays
-
Announce freshly prepared products to boost department sales
Food Safety & Sanitation:
-
Clean/sanitize display cases and equipment
-
Follow food safety standards and store SOPs
Department-Specific Duties
-
Aguas: Prep fruits/vegetables; make fresh beverages
-
Floral: Design floral arrangements; manage display execution
-
Market: Trim, cut, weigh, and prep meat; maintain coolers/freezers
-
Produce: Stock, rotate, wrap, and price fresh produce; offer samples
-
Seafood: Weigh, package, and maintain seafood selection
Minimum Requirements
-
Minimum age: 18

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Completion of H-E-B Orientation and Safety Training
Skills & Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of Telxon, ACR, and labeling systems

Good reading, writing, planning, and organizing abilities
