GENERAL SCOPE & SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a “hunter” minded individual with a relentless focus on acquiring new logo customers. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by leveraging sales engagement practices, lead generation, and utilizing a formal sales process. This role requires the ability to develop customer solutions, demonstrating exceptional negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sales of contact center software and services in the assigned territory.
• Develops sales strategies and forecasts sales volumes for all contact center-related products and channels in the territory.
• Works with Solution Consultants to address customer needs related to contact center technology.
• Establishes short and long-term goals for the territory in line with corporate objectives.
• Responds to RFPs and manages the proposal process to showcase contact center solutions.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• 3-5+ years of enterprise-level field sales experience, SaaS, CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service), or UCaaS required. Compliant outbound familiarity preferred.
• Ability to translate contact center technology and features into meaningful business solutions.
• Strong analytical and business deal-making skills; ability to create and identify opportunities for contact center products.
• Proven ability to grow current clients and acquire net-new customers.
• Demonstrated history of quota achievement.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Extensive negotiation and contract development experience.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to travel to customer sites, channel partners, internal meetings and/or events (national and/or international).
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
