We’re seeking a Commercial Cashier / Starbucks Barista who will provide outstanding customer service, prepare handcrafted beverages, and support day-to-day store operations.
Responsibilities

Deliver the Starbucks Experience by engaging with customers and fellow baristas

Anticipate customer needs and provide prompt, personalized service

Prepare and serve handcrafted specialty beverages and food items following recipes and standards

Complete all point-of-sale transactions (cashless operation: mobile pay, debit/credit only)

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining areas, and kitchen

Stock, organize, and rotate vendor products

Follow UNC HCS policies and health/safety standards
Preferred Experience
-
Prior retail or food service experience in a fast-paced environment

Previous coffee barista experience highly preferred (training provided)
Requirements

Education: None required (if other qualifications are met)

Experience: 1+ year as a cashier or equivalent education/training/experience

Licensure/Certification: None required

Skills: Customer service, POS transactions, teamwork, ability to work in a busy setting
