As a Commissioning Officer within our Integrated Strategic Commissioning Team, you’ll focus on Young Carers and work alongside health providers, local authorities, voluntary organisations, and service users to make a real difference. This 10-month fixed-term opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to influence service development while expanding their own skills and experience. The role is based at County Hall, West Bridgford, and operates on a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities of the Commissioning Officer Role

Lead on commissioning projects focused on Young Carers

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including service users

Review and analyse service activity data to inform future planning

Create detailed written reports and deliver clear verbal presentations

Support strategic development and implementation of service improvements
