About the Role
Cheltenham Ladies’ College (CLC) is seeking an experienced and creative Communications and Engagement Manager to lead our multi-channel communication strategies. In this key role, you’ll drive student recruitment, retention, and audience engagement, playing a pivotal role in amplifying our prestigious brand across internal and external platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead parent communication and engagement with targeted, data-driven email campaigns and CRM optimisation

Oversee website content strategy and audience journey improvements

Manage and mentor the Digital Communications Officer to deliver high-performing social media content

Support internal communications across departments, particularly HR, Admissions, Development, and Commercial Services

Uphold brand storytelling and tone of voice (TOV) across all channels and platforms
-
Coordinate digital campaigns, performance metrics, and content planning aligned with commercial and community-building objectives

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure College life is communicated with energy, diversity, and authenticity
What We’re Looking For:

Degree or formal qualification in communications, marketing, or a related field

Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar communications/engagement role
-
Exceptional copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
-
Proficiency in CRM systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms
-
Strong organisational, project management, and analytical skills
-
A collaborative, adaptable mindset and the confidence to lead cross-functional communication projects
-
Passion for education and commitment to safeguarding and community values
