The Role: Compensation Manager – Global Total Rewards

As an integral part of the Global Total Rewards team, you’ll lead the administration and execution of Certinia’s global compensation programs. This role focuses on managing existing pay structures, performing in-depth market analyses, supporting annual compensation cycles, and partnering with HR and business leaders to deliver impactful, data-informed compensation solutions. Success in this position requires a highly analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer global compensation programs, including pay structures, annual salary review cycles, and regular bonus processes, ensuring alignment with Certinia’s pay philosophy.

  • Participate in compensation benchmarking surveys and evaluate market data to maintain competitive and equitable pay ranges.

  • Model the financial impact of pay program updates, including salary budgets, incentive plans, and equity reviews.

  • Maintain and refine job architecture and compensation structures to support evolving business needs.

  • Advise Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and business leaders on compensation-related decisions.

  • Evaluate and review job offers, internal movements, and job changes, ensuring consistency and equity.

  • Collaborate on cross-functional compensation initiatives such as career pathing and program enhancements.

  • Ensure all compensation programs are compliant with local, state, and international regulations.


Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in broad-based compensation, including international and domestic pay structures.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience with compensation benchmarking, vendor management, and market pricing tools.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to convert business goals into actionable compensation strategies.

  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships across HR, recruiting, and business functions.

  • Skilled at resolving complex compensation issues using a data-driven approach.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UKG Pro and HRSoft platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field.

  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) and/or GRP (Global Remuneration Professional) certification.

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $128,000 – $160,000

  • Compensation is reviewed annually to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
