What You’ll Do – Key Responsibilities

As a Complaints Specialist, you will be responsible for the intake, investigation, and resolution of clinical quality of care complaints, grievances, and incident reports. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that all concerns are handled with professionalism, empathy, and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.

Core Duties Include:

Complaint & Incident Management

  • Receive, document, and manage complaints, grievances, and incidents confidentially and professionally

  • Conduct thorough investigations, including reviewing medical records and obtaining responses from providers or facilities

  • Communicate findings to leadership and escalate quality of care concerns as needed

Project & Performance Management

  • Lead or support projects focused on quality improvement and performance measurement

  • Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams, workgroups, and committee meetings

  • Prepare reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders

Compliance & Accreditation Support

  • Assist with regulatory and accreditation readiness efforts

  • Coordinate accreditation-related projects across departments

  • Contribute to regional quality initiatives and continuous performance improvement processes


Who You Are – Required Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered RN license with a BSN

  • 3+ years post-licensure experience in healthcare, including in-home primary or longitudinal care

  • 1+ year of experience in quality management, including data analysis and report development

  • Experience reviewing medical records and interpreting clinical cases using evidence-based guidelines

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop clear reports, memos, and presentations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Visio

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote work setting

Work Environment & Technical Requirements

  • Fully remote position; company-provided equipment

  • Must have a quiet home office environment for phone and video calls

  • High-speed internet required: Minimum download speed of 20 Mbps, upload speed of 5 Mbps, and latency under 100 ms
