The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Compliance Assistant to join our well-established Day Surgery Unit. Reporting directly to the Compliance Director, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our compliance, governance, and patient experience functions.
We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and personable individual with excellent communication and administrative skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within a supportive team in the healthcare sector.
Your Key Responsibilities
Complaints and Incidents Management

Organise and attend Incident Review Group meetings

Monitor timelines and gather relevant investigation documents
-
Upload and file key documentation
-
Draft shared learning reports and track achievement of corrective actions
Compliance Task Management
-
Monitor and schedule compliance tasks across clinical and administrative teams
-
Send reminders and update records in our bespoke management system
-
Coordinate and book external training sessions
-
Support with monthly compliance reporting for clinical governance
-
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations related to patient pathways
-
Monitor policy and risk register updates; send appropriate alerts
Data Requests and Reporting

Log and track information/data requests
-
Liaise with department heads to ensure documentation is collated and submitted

Assist in preparing organisational mandatory reports and uploading final documents
-
Minute key meetings and prepare agendas as required
-
Support with patient satisfaction data collection and reporting
About You – The Ideal Candidate
Essential Skills & Experience
-
Minimum 1 year of administrative or personal assistant experience
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word
-
Excellent organisational and communication skills
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

A confidential and professional approach to sensitive data

Ability to travel between Epsom and Cobham sites as needed

Strong customer service background

Previous exposure to compliance, healthcare administration, or clinical governance
