Job Responsibilities

Develop and teach undergraduate-level computer science courses.

Advise students on academic and professional matters.

Participate in departmental decisions on curriculum, policies, and programs.

Maintain professional growth by staying updated in the discipline.

Support departmental goals, research, and community engagement.

Hold regular office hours and ensure timely communication with students.
Qualifications

Required:
-
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, OR
-
Master’s degree in another field plus 18 graduate credits in the teaching discipline.

Preferred:
-
Doctoral (terminal) degree in the field.

Teaching or professional experience related to assigned courses.

Must demonstrate:
-
Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
-
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.

Legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Pay and Benefits
-
Pay Range: $1,300–$1,500 per credit hour (depending on experience, course, and enrollment).

Benefits: Eligible for university retirement plans based on classification.
