HER Resiliency Center (HER) is a community-based nonprofit that helps young women in Baltimore overcome adversity, gain job skills, and transition into stable and thriving lives. Whether you’ve experienced housing instability, trauma, or other life challenges, HER offers a safe, empowering space for growth, healing, and career readiness.
Position Summary: Triple Crown Academy Peer
As a participant in the Triple Crown Academy, you’ll join a transformative workforce development program focused on construction training, career preparedness, and life skills. This role is not just a job — it’s a step toward reclaiming your independence and future.
What You’ll Do

Receive pre-apprenticeship training in construction and job-readiness

Attend structured workshops on:

Career development

Budgeting and housing
-
Emotional wellness and trauma resilience

Work with trauma-informed mentors and supportive service staff

Access hands-on learning and real-world experience
What You’ll Receive

Hourly pay between $18.00 – $32.00, based on participation and progress

Daily transportation assistance (bus passes or travel cards)

Certifications in life skills and employment readiness

Access to a wide network of community resources and services

A safe, judgment-free environment where your voice is heard and your growth is celebrated
Eligibility Criteria

Identify as a woman, ages 18–25

Reside in Baltimore City or surrounding areas

Experiencing or overcoming barriers such as:

Housing instability

Trauma

Job loss or insecurity

Other personal hardships
