Overview:

We’re looking for a Digital Experience Project Lead to join our Nationwide Financial (NF) Marketing team, where you’ll help shape the digital future of one of the most trusted names in financial services.
This hybrid role serves as the strategic bridge between Marketing and IT, helping turn innovative marketing strategies into seamless digital experiences for customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead multi-disciplinary digital projects involving site managers, SEO, UX designers, page builders, IT, and compliance teams.

Translate business vision into actionable plans, aligning cross-functional teams toward shared marketing and digital goals.

Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing and IT, guiding initiatives from intake through deployment.

Manage timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time project delivery.

Monitor complex cross-initiative dependencies and prevent scope creep.

Provide executive summaries to communicate progress, risks, and value to stakeholders.

Shape Nationwide’s digital marketing strategy to meet customer expectations and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field preferred
-
Master’s degree is a plus
Experience:
-
8+ years of relevant experience in marketing, digital strategy, consulting, or financial services
-
Proven leadership of digital marketing or IT projects within regulated industries
-
Fluency in both marketing and IT processes
Skills & Knowledge:
-
Project management proficiency (Agile, Jira, etc.)

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
-
Ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments

Financial services certifications (FINRA, CLU, ChFC, CPCU, etc.) are a plus
-
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making
