We have an immediate opening for a Controls Electrician at our Fulton, New York facility. As a key supplier of drinking cups, frozen dessert packaging, and food containers, we seek team members who align with our core values of commitment to excellence, customer service, and accountability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Controls Electrician is a skilled journeyman-level role requiring five years of professional experience in electrical maintenance, or four years of full-time experience under a skilled journeyman in an apprenticeship or equivalent training program.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Repairing electrical and electronic circuits

  • Electrical maintenance of production machinery

  • Troubleshooting and programming PLCs (Modicon, Allen Bradley, RexRoth)

  • Diagnosing and repairing AC & DC motor controls

  • Reading schematics and applying basic control logic for troubleshooting

  • Ensuring compliance with industrial electrical codes and wiring standards

  • Using RS Logic and Panel Builder 32 software programs

  • Proficiency in electrical test equipment usage

Requirements and Experience

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, climb steps, walk frequently, bend, kneel, twist, and lift objects up to 50 pounds

  • Comfortable working at elevated heights, climbing ladders, and handling physically demanding tasks

  • Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic computer proficiency

  • Good eye-hand coordination

  • Ability to work in various ambient temperatures, both indoors and outdoors
