Key Responsibilities:

Review planned menus to determine the types and quantities of food (meats, vegetables, soups, etc.) to be prepared.

Ensure food items are prepared and served on time according to production schedules.

Accurately follow production orders, recipes, and menu plans. Collaborate with leadership to ensure consistent food quality.

Submit weekly food orders based on menu needs and consult with lead cook on how to incorporate leftovers effectively.

Properly assemble meal trays, ensuring compliance with specific dietary requirements.

Work with Registered Dietitians to ensure modified diets meet patient needs.

Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of all cooking equipment and workstations.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required).

Prior food preparation experience (preferred).

Valid ServSafe Food Handler Certification (required).

Basic understanding of cooking terminology (preferred).

Ability to scale recipes and adjust ingredient quantities as needed (required).
