Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present all hot and cold menu items to meet company specifications and guest satisfaction.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of food products, safety protocols, and culinary techniques while consistently following standard operating procedures.

  • Collaborate effectively with chefs, management, and service teams to ensure seamless kitchen operations and exceptional guest service.

  • Process and organize kitchen requisitions, accurately label and store ingredients, and ensure compliance with food cost and waste reduction goals.

  • Monitor food quality and plate presentation to elevate the overall dining experience.

  • Assist in kitchen inventory, station setup, and support other kitchen staff as needed to meet service demands.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of one year of professional cooking experience.

  • Previous experience in luxury hotels or upscale standalone restaurants preferred.

  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution is strongly preferred.

  • Must possess strong communication skills and fluency in English (spoken, read, and written).


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work in varied environments, including extreme temperatures ranging from freezers (-10°F) to hot kitchen areas (+110°F).

  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs and operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, and grinders.

  • Must demonstrate culinary techniques and maintain safety and sanitation best practices.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and move carts and equipment up to 200 lbs occasionally.

  • Physical activities include standing, walking, reaching, grasping, climbing, listening, and visual focus for extended periods.


Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Range: $20.65 – $26.28, exclusive of any applicable incentives such as gratuities or bonuses.
