The Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cook Supervisor to join our Corrections team in Marlboro, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of employees to ensure smooth and efficient food service operations while adhering to established standards in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Train and instruct employees in all areas of food service and sanitation.
Ensure that meal services begin on time and that all food items meet quality standards for portion size, appearance, and temperature.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves:

At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume, quality establishment with a focus on scratch cooking.
Comprehensive knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience supervising a team while delivering friendly and helpful customer service.

Nice-to-Haves:

Food Handlers certification (preferred).

Compensation:

Pay: $20.00 per hour
