Position Overview

The Coordinator, Student Health Services is a key role under the Office of School Improvements and Supports, focused on implementing and supporting school health programs that directly impact academic performance and student well-being.

This position collaborates across the Central Services team and school leadership, serving as a crucial link between school-level health initiatives and district-wide wellness programming.

The Coordinator reports to the school leadership team, with a dotted-line relationship to the Central Services Student Health Services program team, receiving monthly check-ins and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and support comprehensive health programs at the school level

  • Promote student wellness and address health risk factors that affect learning

  • Collaborate with school and Central Services staff to coordinate health initiatives

  • Maintain regular communication with Student Health Services team

  • Ensure compliance with school health policies and support system-wide health goals

  • Participate in monthly professional development and feedback sessions

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (required)

  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience

  • Experience or exposure to the education sector is strongly preferred

  • Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
