About the Role
Avalere Health is seeking a Copywriter to create content for pharmaceutical brand communications targeting healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients. You will be responsible for developing manuscripts, ensuring accuracy with annotations and references, and tailoring the tone and voice for specific audiences. The role involves close collaboration with creative and regulatory teams and requires balancing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities

Write manuscripts across multiple media platforms for varied audiences.

Annotate and reference manuscripts accurately to support claims.

Manage content throughout the project lifecycle.

Revise content based on internal, client, and regulatory feedback.

Apply AMA style and maintain consistent grammar.

Collaborate with art directors, editors, and cross-functional teams.

Present content and concepts to clients and colleagues.

Handle multiple deadlines with strong organizational skills.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Advertising, or related field; OR 2+ years of relevant work experience.

Pharmaceutical/healthcare copywriting experience required.

Portfolio or writing samples required (include link in resume).

Agency or in-house marketing environment experience preferred.

Proficiency writing across multiple media formats.

Strong grammar skills and AMA style knowledge.

Comfortable working under pressure within tight timelines.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $70K–$80K DOE.
