What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a Digital Communications Specialist focused on email and mobile messaging. You will partner with Campaign Management to activate personalized and dynamic digital communications. This role requires someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day email marketing activities, including drafting creative briefs, testing, QA, and performance analysis

Schedule emails in collaboration with the Digital Communications Manager

Coordinate with Campaign Managers to implement creative briefs using industry best practices and Kroger’s past campaign learnings

Use workflow management systems to approve and deliver assets to Digital Communications Developers

Interface with targeting teams to validate audience lists and ensure proper segmentation

Analyze campaign performance using data and insights

Share digital communications best practices with internal stakeholders

Support Campaign Managers and Creative Services to optimize processes and outcomes
Required Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on outbound email marketing experience

Experience using Adobe Analytics

Thorough knowledge of CAN-SPAM Act

Strong workflow management and organizational skills

Ability to handle multiple projects and tight timelines
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

Experience with multi-channel retail digital communications

Experience with marketing cloud solutions (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

Experience working on complex email campaigns in a fast-paced environment
