Overview
Concentra is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support Specialist to provide day-to-day support for our Contracting and Credentialing teams. This role involves managing workflows in the IntelliCred database, tracking certifications and agreements, supporting facility credentialing, and ensuring compliance with payer requirements.
Responsibilities

Track and maintain DOT certifications for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, including NRCME validation and IntelliCred compliance updates.

Monitor and process APC/ATC agreements for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and athletic trainers, ensuring compliance through timely renewals and documentation.

Complete and manage facility credentialing applications for Urgent Care, Physical Therapy, Primary Care, and Work Comp payers, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and up to date.

Act as the liaison for securing facility licensures in collaboration with licensing, clinical, and operational leaders.

Conduct audits of facility rosters and validate IntelliCred database entries to maintain data accuracy.

Launch workflows in IntelliCred for Medicare, Group Health, clinician enrollment, collaborative agreements, and compliance updates.

Support acquisition-related credentialing activities, including updating internal rosters and facility records.

Maintain administrative tasks such as mail distribution, office supply management, and contact lists.

Create and update internal facility listings, including NPIs, TINs, and billing details, to support internal and external stakeholders.

Track contracts for executive review and maintain organized filing systems (electronic and hard copy).

Reconcile internal credentialing verification expenses through the Concur expense system.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; college degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.

Minimum 2 years of administrative experience with strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with moderate to advanced Excel skills.

Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information (HIPAA/PHI compliance).
