Job Overview
Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Credentialing Specialist I to join the Provider Credentialing team. This role is responsible for reviewing provider contracts, credentialing physicians, performing data entry, verifying licenses and insurance, and handling other administrative credentialing tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Review provider contracts for accuracy and completeness

Credential physicians applying to the QTC provider network

Accurately and timely input provider data into tracking systems

Research and verify provider licenses and insurance information

Respond promptly to provider information inquiries

Assist traveling providers with obtaining additional state medical licenses

Prepare credentialing packages for providers on military installations

Support IT systems with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Ensure IT applications align with proposed processes

Perform other assigned credentialing-related duties
Qualifications
Required
-
High School diploma or GED
-
0–1 year of relevant experience
Preferred
-
Experience with credentialing and privileging software
-
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) credential
